Frequently Asked Questions

No not at all. We have many dancers (male and female) who attend without dance partners to learn to dance. It’s a great way to meet new friends with a common interest. Over the years we have attended weddings of dancers who met at our classes.

Our beginners class is for dancers who have none or very little knowledge of dance. The improvers class is for dancers who have completed our beginners class, or know the basics of each dance (please contact us if you are unsure). Our advance class is aimed at dancers who are confident with their dancing and have a reasonable knowledge of all basic dance figures.

To start with we would advise that you wear anything that you feel comfortable in apart from trainers, as these will not allow you to move across the floor. Please try to abstain from wearing boots, stiletto’s or sling backs. Shoes should have a back to them for comfort whilst learning to dance.

We would advise that you bring a non alcoholic drink with you.

All of our venues have plenty of parking places.

It would be beneficial to all to attend each week, but we do realise that other commitments do sometimes get in the way. If a week is missed we will do our best to bring you ‘up to date’ in the practice time. We will always offer extra help where needed, just ask. If lessons are missed then it is possible that a one off ‘catch-up’ private lesson could be arranged. Please contact us.
