Each class commences with a demonstration of the dance/step that will be taught that evening. Here we have the advance class looking on whilst a step is being explained.

All steps are first taught with men/leaders and ladies/followers learning the step by themselves before dancing with a partner. In this photo we see pupils learning the step on their own literally step by step.

After learning without a partner, pupils are then partnered up to try the step as a couple. Our improvers class here is enjoying such a session with a little bit of Jive.
