Frequently asked questions

Which class should I attend?  -  Our introductory class is for dancers who have no or very little knowledge of dance.   The beginners class is for dancers who have completed our introductory class or know the basics of each dance - please contact us if you are unsure.  Our advanced class is aimed at dancers who are confident with their dancing and have a reasonable knowledge of basic dance figures.

What should I wear on my feet? - To start with we would advise that you wear anything that you feel comfortable in apart from trainers as these will not allow you to move across the floor.

Do I need a partner? - You do not necessarily need a dance partner as we have several dancers who come along to dance and require a partner.  If you do not have a partner please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do I need to bring refreshments? - We would advise that you bring a non alcoholic drink with you.

Is there car parking? - At all our venues there are plenty of parking places.

Do I need to attend every week and what would happen if I miss a week? - It would be beneficial to all to attend each week but we do realize that other commitments do sometimes get in the way.  If a week is missed we will do our best to bring you 'up to date'  in the practice time.  We will always offer extra help where needed - please ask.  If lessons are missed then maybe a one off 'catch-up' private lesson could be arranged.  Please contact us.
